James, yes pronounciation is the problem. Let&#039;s hope that it takes less than 30 minutes. I&#039;m sure if I sat down with her and did lots of repetition she&#039;d get it in that time, but this isn&#039;t a real &#039;student&#039; that I have lessons with, but my girlfriend.

I had planned to just mention the difference in pronounciation between &#039;sixteen&#039; and &#039;sixty&#039; if it came up, but I think that I&#039;m going to do the flashcard thing that cody suggested.</description>

Make it fun. Do some kind of flashcard drill game and increase the speed as she starts catching on. Throw in some big numbers too.
