Ndugu Casting Call

Before I spent all those years in China, I was in a band called Ndugu. It was great, we’d get together often, not the weekly rehearsals that most bands do, but two or three times a week, and more.

Now that I hear the recordings we make it occurs to me that we were pretty good!

I’m not sure what the other two guys are doing now, but would really like to get Ndugu going again. The easiest way would probably be to give James and Luke a call and get them over, but have lost their phone numbers. :(

On the off chance someone knows who they are I’ve made this video and post.

The far more likely option is starting a new band!

So if you’re a musician in Sydney and are interested in this kind of music, let me know. I play keyboard and bass, and I hope you can get some idea of what musical styles I’m into from this blog and YouTube channel.

    that sounds cool Max ! :)

    Hey ! – if your Korean/Japanese friends play instruments maybe you all can work on
    something together through the internet. That would be interesting ! ;)
